01 /Overview

SnapGlade captures the visible viewport, full scrolling pages, dragged regions or picked DOM elements — and records the current tab to WebM video or animated GIF. Before capture it preps the page: hiding sticky bars and cookie banners, dismissing overlays, triggering lazy-load.

A layer-based, non-destructive editor handles arrows, shapes, text, callouts, numbered steps, spotlight and magnifier. Beautify adds gradient backdrops and device frames; privacy-first redaction offers blur, pixelate and on-device face auto-blur. Export to PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG or single-page PDF at 1×–3×, or copy straight to the clipboard.

Private by default: no servers, no analytics, no ads. Captures and projects stay in local IndexedDB and chrome.storage.

The only off-device path is opt-in Google Drive backup — to a hidden, app-private folder inside your own Drive. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for model training.
